St Helens Camera Club
The St. Helens Camera Club was founded in 1900 and the club has come a long way since those early Victorian years.
“Picture” those big heavy box plate camera, with the black covers the upside down images and the long drawn out process of obtaining your prints at the end of it.
As well as traditional film based photography, St. Helens Camera club also use the latest in digital camera equipment where images can now be processed at the “click” of a button. Instant images!.
With all the latest technology and the use of software such as Adobe Photoshop™ then photography is an art for learning new skills.

Meetings
Our meetings for the season start on the first Monday in September at the Bishop Road Police Club, St. Helens. The club opens at 07:30pm for a prompt 8:00pm start and run until about 10:00pm. Our club season ends by 30th April, however we still meet every two weeks at the same venue. Full address and map of the location can be found on our Contact Us page.
